The first edition Iva´s book about Bassets was printed and published by czech publising house Dona in the year 1998 and during few years it was sold out. Thanks to many positive reactions on the book, Iva worked hard second edition, which was published at the end of 2011, this time by another publishing house, CanisTR in Prague (Iva Èernohubová: Baseti, 2011). Untill now only the version in czech language is ready. The book is dealed not only with Basset Hounds, but also with another Basset breeds, especially with Basset Griffon Vendéen. The book includes many new pictures and has brand new drawings by Marta Mastná. It has 182 pages, eight colourfull pages, 108 black and white photos and 56 drawings with comment of the new standard. Book is very interesting for nonczech readers due to huge amoung of perfect drawigs and photos.
I know there is many people not only in Germany, Austria and Schwizerland, who would like to read my book. With help of my friends my book will be soon ready to be published in german language. I seak for an publishing company, who would be able to add my book into editorial planes for near future. There may be somebody, who can help me in finding this. Thank you in advance!


Mein Buch über Bassets wurde erstmal in 1998 in tschechischer Sprache veröffentlicht und war während die erste Jahre total ausverkauft. Ich habe eine neu e bearbeitete Version vorbereitet, diesma bei einem Prager Verlag Canis TR (Iva Èernohubová: Baseti, 2011). Bisher ist das Buch nur im tschechischer Sprache erhältlich. Das Buch ist nicht nur Basset Hounds gewidmet, sondern auch anderen Basset Rassen, besonders Basset Griffon Vendéen. Das Buch enthält viele neue Bilder und neue Illustrationen von Marta Mastná. Es hat 182 Seiten, acht vollfarbige Seiten in der Beilage, 108 schwarz-weisse Photos und 56 Zeichungen zu Kommentaren des Basset Hound Standards.
Ich weiß dass viele Menschen in Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz gerne mein Buch lesen würden. Mit der Hilfe von Freunden wird das Buch nun zum Druck in deutscher Sprache bald fertig. Ich suche einen Herausgeber, der mein Buch in seine Planung zur Veröffentlichung in nächster Zukunft aufnehmen würde. Vielleicht gibt es jemand der mir dabei helfen kann einen Verlag zu finden.
